CASED SPRING LOADED LANCET
1088-42 . . . 19th Century spring loaded bloodletting tool. This bleeding device is made from brass and steel. It is in excellent condition. This is the smallest of 4 sizes. Small bleeding instruments like this were used for smaller veins in and around the mouth and in the genital area. The fleem comes with its original case. The case is in excellent condition except the little brass hook that holds the case close is missing. The fleem measures 2 1/4 inches in height.
