18th Century Trappers Scale

18th Century blacksmith made trappers and trading scale. The scale will weight up to 300 units. I am not sure if this is pounds or metric. Many such scales were French made. This set is in excellent condition. The scale face is brass the casing is steel. The scales show signs of wear and use. Beaver trappers use scales such as this to purchase hides from the Indians.
