I am an antique dealer specializing in medical related antiques. I carry surgical sets, birthing and Mid-Wife related antiques, medical photographs, antique and obsolete hospital equipment, medical books, teaching aids, and some items related to pharmacy. This list is a small sample of the medical related antiques I normally have in stock. I buy from auctions, estates, and whenever possible medical collections. SURGICAL TOOLS AND MEDICAL ITEMS: I generally have several cased amputation sets and a few smaller scalpel sets for doing minor surgery. I always have tools related to bleeding, bloodletting, and leeching. In addition I have individual tools such as amputation saws, ivory and ebony handle scalpels, forceps, stethoscopes, and testing equipment. In addition, I have books related to surgical procedures and treatments.

BLEEDING, BLOODLETTING, CUPPING, AND LEECHING: I generally have a large selection of antique and vintage medical items related to bloodletting. Items normally on hand include: fleems, lancets, cupping cups, leech bowls, and books related to bloodletting and cupping as a treatment.

MID-WIFE AND BIRTHING: I carry a large selection of Mid-Wife related tools. I have teaching aids, birthing forceps, items related to breast feeding, early nursing bottles, charts, and books related to birthing and early child care.

HOSPITAL RELATED EQUIPMENT: My selection of hospital related antiques include ether and ether delivery devices and machines, fracture setting machines, medicals pumps, X-ray tubes, hand blown glass urinals, porcelain bedpans, large transfusion kits, and early incubators.

EAR TRUMPETS AND EARLY HEARING AIDS: I always have a good selection of early hearing devices such as tin ears, ear horns, ear trumpets, and speaking tubes. I also carry early hearing aids that date between 1920 and 1950.
