An early blade from a water powered saw mill that was located in Kennebunkport Maine. This blade is painted with a coastal scene. Artist often used saw blades as a canvas. The paint actually helps to preserve the steel blade. This is one of two saw blades that were salvaged when the remains of the old mill were demolished. This blade measures 83 inches.
