Home-Made Artificial Foot
1097-06 . . . Home-Made Prosthetic foot. This prosthetic is made from a rubber boot and wrought iron. It belonged to a man who had one leg 6 inches shorter than the other. He had several of these made. This one was for work around the farm. I have a photograph of a family gathering that shows this foot lift in use. The photograph is sold with this artificial foot.
