Pewter Invalid Medicine Spoon

2102-26 . . . This medicine spoon was designed to force medicine down the throats of invalid or patients who were not concious. In use, the medicine could be drawn into the bowl by mouth. The spoon was then placed in the back of the patients mouth and the medicine was allowed to flow in or could be forced with puff of air.
