Brass and steel spring loaded lancet.
This bloodletting tool is the smallest of the spring loaded type of lancets.
It measures 2 inches in height. Small lancets were used for bleeding around the face, tongue, and other places where the blood vein are close to the surface.
This tool is in excellent condition. The original case is missing part of its cover.
