
1097-02 . . . Early 18th Century Pewter Syringe with two tips. The syringe is housed in an early box lined with hand painted wallpaper. Decorating boxes with leftover wallpaper was a common practice in the 18th Century. The body of the syringe measures 10 inches and has a diameter of 1 7/8 inches. The long syringe tip measures 8 inches, the short tip measures 3 inches. Syringe of this nature were a common household item in the 18th century.
