I am an antique dealer specializing in medical, dental, and optical related antiques. I carry surgical sets, medical photographs, antique and obsolete hospital equipment, medical books, teaching aids, and some items related to pharmacy. This list is a small sample of the medical related antiques I normally have in stock. I buy from auctions, estates, and whenever possible medical collections. Medical Antiques: I carry vintage medical antiques that date from the mid-1700 to the 1950's. I usually have cased surgical sets, scalpel sets, birthing related tools, Mid-wife related tools, bloodletting tools, cupping tools, blistering tools, ear horns, ear trumpets, speaking tubes, stethoscopes, artificial lims (especially primitive home-made examples), teaching aids, books, charts, testing equipment, ether related items, early X-Ray tubes, and items related to vetearian medicine.

Dental Antiques: I carry vintage dental related antiques such as forceps, tooth keys, early hog hair toothbrushes, and antique dentures in wood, tin, ivory, gold. I carry teaching aids, charts, books, early dental equipment, photographs, and dental advertising.

Optical Antiques: I have an extensive selection (more than 20,000 pair) of eyeglasses and spectacles that range in age from 1650 to 1965. I carry early testing equipment, tools, books, charts, hand-made glass eyes, early surgical glasses, and an occasional microscope, telescope, and binoculars. Ivory and Bone Instruments: I have a large selection of ivory and bone instruments used in the medical field.

Scientific Instruments: I try to have in stock scientific instruments and items related to technology that date to the 18th and 19th century. I will carry some items from the early 20th century. Examples include lab equipment, measuring and testing devices, and prototypes of early inventions.

Mortuary Antiques: I carry a selection of vintage antiques related to Death and Dying. I have post mortem photographs, funeral parlor furniture, caskets, skeletons, skulls, bones, books, charts, embarking tools and equipment.

18th Century Medals: I carry medical related items in pewter, brass, and iron that date before 1850 such as mortars, pap boats, nursing bottles, apothacary weights and measures, and medical scales. I also carry Colonial Era iron and brass that is personal in nature. Such items include personal fire starting kits, scissors, hair and wig curling irons, travel candlesticks, pocketknives, shoe buckles, and cased knife and fork sets.
